JackRabbit Slims, a name inspired by the iconic restaurant in the dance contest scene from Pulp Fiction, is a dynamic rock, R&B, and dance band based in the Boston area. The band features Shannon Grant on lead vocals, Chris Bednar on bass guitar, keyboards, and vocals, Jim Stavropoulos on guitar and vocals, Dave Pashayan on guitar, bass, and vocals, and Phil Dussault on drums and percussion. Since 2000, JackRabbit Slims has been energizing the local club scene around Boston's North Shore with a diverse mix of music, covering artists from The Cars and The Killers to Stevie Wonder and Amy Winehouse.
JackRabbit grew their following by playing bars, pubs, private parties, corporate functions, weddings and beach club parties on the Cape.
