Michael Tarbox: Barside

Doors 4 PM | Show 5 PM
Free for Bar Patrons
Michael Tarbox blends raw rock ‘n’ roll with country blues and gospel influences. His smokey voice and barbed-wire guitar have earned praise from NPR’s All Things Considered for their "rattlesnake venom and gospel-drenched howling."
A former member of The Tarbox Ramblers, Tarbox has worked with legends like Jim Dickinson, Robert Plant, and Alison Krauss. As a solo artist, he’s toured the US, Europe, and Canada, including a 2024 performance at the Kennedy Center. His releases include My Primitive Joy, Works and Days, and Paler Suns, which nods to his early influences, from Hendrix to The Mississippi Sheiks.
