The Claw Daddies

The Claw Daddies are a derivative of the Groton-based band, Cousin Auntie’s Ghost (CAG). As neighbors over the hill, these four have spent many a late-night playing tunes in one or the others living room/kitchen. Like CAG, they perform a very eclectic mix, but their songs are geared towards the instrumentation of this unique foursome (guitar, bass, vocals, banjo, flute, and washboard).
Natalie Kent brings her much-loved soulful sound to the lead vocals, while Ryan Stevens adds her multi-instrumental talents to the quartet with lively backup vocals/banjo/flute and the occasional washboard. Aaron Johnson and Mike Dion (both of Lowell-based blues-rock band Daemon Chili & nationally recognized, progressive bluegrass band Hot Day at the Zoo) complete the roster with Aaron supplying his exquisite electric/acoustic guitar licks, and Mike (also of well-known solo act ODB Project) holding it down on the upright, electric bass.
