David Rubin is a multi-talented musician and fills many roles as a Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter, Bandleader, Producer, Audio Engineer, and Educator.
As a Performer, He plays around 100 shows every year around his home base in Boston, the New England area, and New York. After a long time as a side-man, He started A Jerry Garcia Band and Grateful Dead tribute act: Diamond Blues which, through its Residencies at The Burren in Somerville and at the Midway Cafe in JP, has built him a Strong base of Loyal Fans.
His Latest project is Daydream. Daydream is a Roots Jam Band that blends Americana, soulful songwriting, and hard-driving Rock n’ Roll with the free improvisation of groups like the Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers Band.
