Bees Deluxe is a Boston-based British/American modern blues band, winners of the New Hampshire State Blues Challenge, and are on the way to compete at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, January 2026. The band tours from Maine to Miami and as far east as the Cleveland House of Blues. Frequently performing at Daryl’s House Club, Jamey's House of Music, The Lizzie Rose Music Room, The Bull Run, Black Eyed Sally’s and Boston City Winery, the band blends classic blues tunes from Etta James, Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland, Otis Rush and Joe Zawinul with modern songs by Robert Cray, Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top with a few originals. They have played with Ronnie Earl, Mike Zito, Joanna Connor and Joanne Shaw Taylor among others and their album “Hallucinate” was declared “This what Steely Dan would sound like if they played the blues.”
