New England-based songwriters Travis Richard and Schuyler Whelden have been writing and playing music together since high school. As the main songwriting team behind the pop-funk of Miss Fairchild and the garage-soul of The Bold Type, they have been fortunate to work with some of the very best musicians in the region to bring their ideas to life. Trav & Sky is a showcase for their latest ideas and experiments, whether they evoke the rhythm & blues of Leon Bridges, the country folk of the Avett Brothers, or the soulful pop of Lake Street Dive. Their first EP as a duo will be released in 2026.
