Northbound is a jam band comprised of four friends who all share a uniting love for the genre-blending improvisational sounds of the Grateful Dead. By mixing elements of psychedelia, classic rock and outlaw/country rock with this improvisational nature, they bring the songs you know and love back to life. 

Born in the underground music scene of UMass Amherst, Northbound has built a strong local following that followed them to the historic venues of Northampton. Now fresh off the release of their first studio single, Deadman’s Sun, the band sets their sights beyond Amherst.
